Hi, I’m Rachel!

Close friends and family call me Rach or Rae. I’m a mom of 2 (boy and girl), wife, oldest sister, aunt, dog mom, health care professional, certified life and wellness coach, & lover of all things health, wellness, energy, spirituality, growth and personal development.

Through 1:1 coaching, programs, workshops and wellness retreats, I help moms transform from burnout and overwhelm to balance and overflow. I empower moms to thrive in motherhood instead of simply survive with use of holistic healing modalities, mindfulness-based coaching and tools, mindset and soul-based teachings. The work I do with women is to empower minds and cultivate feelings of inner calm and balance. I use a combination of my Masters level education, coaching certifications, and personal transformation in my own life through inner work and use of holistic practices to empower moms to live a life with more joy, abundance, personal power, optimal health and inner peace. 

My personal journey into inner work, growth, holistic healing and coaching began after going back to work after my second maternity leave. I experienced a significant emotional burnout which halted me into deep self-reflection. I made several major life changes in my external life, until I came to the realization that it wasn’t the external that needed to change. It was my inner wellbeing. I went from striver, people pleaser, high achiever, go-go-go to the point of burnout to living a life of more balance, honouring my needs, prioritizing myself, becoming more calm and present, seeing a wider perspective on issues and situations that come up in life, and experiencing more joy and happiness. I went from trying to control people and situations, to allowing in more flow and ease which had a noticeable ripple effect in my relationships with others and with myself. Essentially, through this journey and process of inner work, I have taken myself from burnout, overwhelm and survival into balance, overflow and thriving. 

I am passionate about coaching, healing and holistic wellness with other moms because I know it has transformed my life from the inside out. I have a better ability to feel present more often, am much more self-aware, have stronger relationships, am able to ask and receive help more often, catch myself in old patterns and choose to shift them, and am thriving more than surviving.  I believe growth is a constant process, but the shifts in my perspective and my energy have been so positive and expansive. I have a strong desire to help other moms experience these impactful shifts, expand their energetic capacity, transform their perspectives, and parent from a place of thriving instead of surviving. I believe the changes moms make in their inner wellness will have a ripple effect on their relationships, children, and children’s children.
